In Reply To Essentially, with the GC kit, you're paying $80/spring.... posted by Scott (ZofNC) on July 19, 2002 at 09:39 AM

Message Basically it will be around $900 for the shocks and springs w/coilovers which isn't that bad of a deal. The shocks alone are worth every penny they are asking IMHO. To be able to produce an intricate adjustable shock for less than $100 is really amazing to me. The springs and coilovers are priced a bit excessively though, its just a spring and a couple of easily fabricated aluminum parts that cost more than shocks. That's the only thing that chaps my ass really. But I'm not about to get into making springs or coilovers either.

As for body parts, I only have one testicle - the NA->TT conversion takes a lot out of you. LOL ;-) jk

: and $80 for all 4 sleeves and adjustable spring seat.
: There's no other way for a cheaper coilover kit than that.
: Not worth making your own sleeves and just buying the springs. The kit's always been $399. A tt.net sponsor once had em for $360 but that only lasted a month or so.
: And well, if that'll cost you a kidney, then your spleen and liver will have to be donated for camber kits(another$800).
